"Vancouver, BC’s Hot Loins soak their synth-punk arrhythmia in dirty psychedelics, layering spaced-out moans over twitchy guitars, wobbling keyboards, and chaotic drumming. The band unexpectedly shift between syrupy slow lurching and epileptic fits like a stumbling, potentially violent drunk." -Eric Grandy "The Seattle Stranger"

"'Weird,' interchangeable noisy punktangle jawns from Vancouver... slamming on organ and punching the bass like it’s Marvin Hagler. Affected male vocals and scraping guitar fill out the mix, going for some sub-Contortions/Arab on Radar type deal" -Doug Mosurak "Dusted Magazine

Hot Loins were a Vancouver punk band that existed from March 2005 to March 2007. They played 43 shows and released a two-song 7" (on Broadway to Boundary) and a 6-song tape (on Thankless).
